Hennow Hares were traditionally created using wood from ancient woodland 💫 Folklore says this ancient wood was held by the "wise women" of the village to be crafted into hares in times of need💫.The hares were used in rituals, to restore calm and balance to Mother Nature.💫They were kept in houses for good luck. The original hennow hares are now extremely rare, with a few examples being kept in old country houses💫These hennow hares are hand carved reproductions made by artisans in Bali 🐰
